In Writing, we revised by adding informational text features. First, we examined examples of text features from anchor texts, for example, table of contents, photos, captions, diagrams, labels, charts/tables, timelines, and maps. We discussed how these features help an author make their information more clear to a reader and which we could possibly add to our writing.

  3. If 'no', then add more information or details.

In Writing we added openings to our informational texts. An opening is used to grab our readers' attention. We do this by beginning with a question, an interesting fact, an opinion abou the subject matter, or a famous quote, (to name a few ways.)
