Opening Session: (SEL): Mindset: differences

Core 1: (LA):

  • Retell: vocabulary
  • Writing: openings
Core 2: Math: place value: tens and ones
Core 3: Science: review
Tiered Support: Reading: long e/u silent 'e'

In Writing we added openings to our informational texts. An opening is used to grab our readers' attention. We do this by beginning with a question, an interesting fact, an opinion abou the subject matter, or a famous quote, (to name a few ways.)
